Our School is committed to personalising learning through a holistic approach that is developmentally appropriate. The school motto ‘support and challenge’ is modelled in every aspect of the school curriculum. Our teachers have the expertise to ‘support’ students as required and ‘challenge’ them at their point of need. This happens through continuous assessment and careful monitoring of each student’s progress.
Students are exposed to a rich, relevant curriculum that promotes lifelong learning and provides them with the attributes necessary to thrive in the 21st century as multi-literate global citizens.
At Camberwell South Primary School we are committed to building a learning community. The diversity of student need is well supported by providing a curriculum that is based on the critical attributes required for the 21st century. These include:

Camberwell South Primary School has a responsibility to provide an educational environment that ensures that all students are valued and cared for, where they feel that they are part of the school, and where they can engage effectively in their learning and experience success.

School Norms are unpacked, discussed, role modelled and evaluated, and implicitly built into curriculum delivery, social circles, conflict resolution and class meetings.
